Great Italian food in Southend-on-Sea. Perfectly located near to The Cliffs Pavilion and Southend's beautiful seafront.

Filippo's enthusiasm for preparing traditional Italian food shows in so many ways - from the flavour of the Mediterranean such as Cozze Marinara (mussels in garlic sauce) to very traditional Northern Italian dishes such as Chicken Valdostana, prepared with ham and mozzarella cheese and carefully cooked in a light white wine sauce.

In a comfortable bar - freshly made Italian roasted Espresso coffee, or Cappuccino with your dessert, quickly served with a smile. For after dinner drinks, try a flaming Sambuca, Strega, Amaretto or Grappa.

Pressed for time?


We now offer a full takeaway service (collection only) from our a la carte menu. Piccolo's will always cook a delicious pizza to your taste and pack it in a special heat resistant container for you to take away, and give you a delicious cup of coffee while it is being specially prepared.
